Why We Struggle With Habits Most people think habits fail because of a lack of discipline. In reality, they fail because the habit wasn’t built to fit your life in the first place. Sustainable change begins with understanding your rhythms,...

Shannon Griffiths
Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach
I’m Shannon, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and the founder of Rooted In Sincerity.
I support women who are tired of feeling like they have to work harder just to feel okay in their bodies. Many of the women I work with are navigating hormone concerns, PCOS or irregular cycles, celiac disease and other autoimmune-related wellness challenges, digestive symptoms, low energy, stress, or the overwhelm that can come with trying to make sense of their health.
My approach brings together realistic nutrition and lifestyle support, nervous system awareness, habit integration, and compassionate accountability. Rather than handing you another rigid plan to follow, I help you understand your patterns, identify what may be getting in the way, and build supportive routines that can actually hold up in real life.
For a long time, I believed wellness came down to willpower. I pushed through burnout, ignored my body’s signals, and tried to “fix” myself with more information, stricter plans, and greater discipline. But the more I learned about stress, hormones, digestion, and the nervous system, the more I began to see that my body was not working against me. It was communicating.
That realization changed the way I approached my own health, and it is the foundation of Rooted In Sincerity.
Today, I help clients step out of the exhausting cycle of starting over, second-guessing every choice, and feeling disconnected from their bodies. Together, we create a personalized path that supports nourishment, energy, stress regulation, sustainable habits, and greater confidence in caring for your health.
There are no quick fixes here. Just thoughtful support, practical tools, and space to create change that feels rooted, realistic, and lasting.
My background blends integrative nutrition, sociology, and applied analytics - allowing me to support both the emotional and practical sides of well-being.
My Philosophy
What I Believe About True Well-Being
In practice, this means we focus less on rigid plans—and more on building habits your body can actually maintain.
Holistic & nervous-system aware
Your mind, body, emotions, and environment are all connected. We work at the level of your nervous system, daily habits, and inner dialogue — not just surface-level “quick fixes.”
Compassion over perfection
There is no ideal client here. You’re welcome exactly as you are: tired, overwhelmed, hopeful, confused, or all of the above. We move at a pace your body can actually handle.
Sustainable change
Change doesn’t have to be drastic to be meaningful. Together we focus on small, honest shifts that add up — in your stress levels, your nutrition, your sleep, and how you feel in your own life.
What Makes This Different
Care That Honors the Whole You — Not Just a Checklist
I believe well-being is built through understanding, trust, and consistency. This approach focuses on education, lifestyle support, and long-term balance — not rushed conversations or surface-level advice.
A thoughtful starting point, not a rushed intake.
Every relationship begins with conversation. Virtual consultations are a chance to slow down, talk openly, and explore what you’re experiencing in a supportive, judgment-free space. This isn’t about quick answers — it’s about understanding your goals, your challenges, and whether this work feels like the right fit for you.
Guidance shaped around your real life.
There’s no one path to feeling better. The work we do together is guided by your needs, routines, and priorities — not rigid plans or generic advice. Support evolves as you do, allowing space for change that feels manageable, realistic, and aligned with your lifestyle.
Looking at the full picture, not isolated symptoms.
Well-being is influenced by more than one factor. This approach considers the connections between physical health, emotional well-being, daily habits, and life stressors. By understanding how these pieces interact, we can focus on meaningful, long-term balance rather than short-term fixes.
No pressure, no extremes, no fear-based guidance.
This work is rooted in patience and compassion. There’s no shame, no overwhelm, and no expectation to change everything at once. Instead, the focus is on steady progress, clear understanding, and creating a space where growth feels safe and supported.
Building confidence, clarity, and self-trust.
My goal isn’t for you to rely on me forever — it’s to help you understand your body, your patterns, and your choices more clearly. Through education and reflection, you’ll gain tools that support informed decisions and long-term well-being beyond our time working together.
